Texting is a convenient way to keep in touch, but parents might tell you otherwise.
They see the new smartphone their kids have, and they immediately upgrade their old phone into one of these advanced devices. Why? To text their children! However, even after they get the hand of it (sort of) and text successfully, they don’t quite understand the modern abbreviations (WTF, LMAO, etc.).
